5 Reasons Why Crunchy Peanut Butter Shouldn't Exist
Think for a second about the adjectives you'd use to describe peanut butter: smooth, creamy, sticky. One word that probably didn't come to mind? Crunchy, and with good reason.
1. It's Not Butter
Butters are smooth. Crunchy peanut butter just seems like peanut butter that they gave up on halfway through.
2. It Wreaks Havoc on Your Teeth
You better have some toothpicks around when you're eating crunchy peanut butter, because you're going to be working on your teeth for the rest of the day.
3. You Can't Cook With It
Every try to make a cake, frosting, or a sauce with crunchy peanut butter? It doesn't work. Literally the only use for crunchy peanut butter is for peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, which makes it a dreaded unitasker.
4. It's Impossible to Spread
Go ahead, try to spread some crunchy peanut butter on that fresh slice of white bread. That torn, clumped-up, half-covered mess? Not a good foundation for a sandwich.
5. It's Inconsistent
A bite of peanut butter with too many chunks is not a good bite of peanut butter.
