10 Chains That Will Be Serving Thanksgiving Dinner

Thanksgiving is the holiday that, more than any other, conjures images of home-cooked meals and extended families gathering around the dinner table to enjoy them. But that's not the case for everyone. In fact, the National Restaurant Association claims that 14 million people eat their Thanksgiving dinner at a restaurant every year, and plenty of those meals will be eaten at national chains. We tracked down 10 chains that are serving special Thanksgiving menus on Turkey Day, many of which also offer whole Thanksgiving feasts to go.

Bob Evans

At Bob Evans, $14.99 will get you a choice of entrée (turkey, ham, or roast pork), three sides, five types of bread, and pumpkin pie.

Boston Market

Boston Market will be open on Thanksgiving serving "a limited menu of your holiday favorites," but the main draw is their heat and serve offering. The company offers a wide variety of appetizers, entrées, sides, and desserts, as meals for four to 12 guests or in catering trays for a 10-person-minimum buffet.

Buca di Beppo

Buca di Beppo wil be offering a traditional Thanksgiving dinner of spiced white meat turkey, gravy, mashed potatoes, Italian sausage stuffing, green beans, cranberry sauce, and pumpkin pie. Guests can dine in, take the order to go, or purchase catering trays.

Cracker Barrel

Cracker Barrel is a longtime Thanksgiving favorite, serving a traditional dinner for a reasonable price (go early, as the lines can be long). This year, they're also offering a "heat n' serve holiday family meal to-go" that can be heated up in two hours or less. It comes with roasted turkey breast, cornbread dressing, cranberry relish, choice of three sides, sweet yeast rolls, pumpkin pie, and pecan pie.

Denny’s

Most Denny's are open and serving their regular menu on Thanksgiving, but some locations also offer a traditional holiday turkey and dressing dinner, complete with  sliced turkey breast, stuffing, gravy, and cranberry sauce. Call ahead to check if this will be offered at the location nearest you.

Golden Corral

For $12.99, Golden Corral will be offering an ample Thanksgiving buffet. Twenty-seven items will be available (not including dessert), including turkey, fried chicken, pot roast, meatloaf, ham, steak, potatoes, corn, macaroni and cheese, pizza, and pasta.

Maggiano’s Little Italy

Maggiano's pulls out the stops every Thanksgiving, and this year is no different. The four-course meal starts with bruschetta, followed by salad. The main course includes your choice of roast turkey, ham, or tilapia; sides including creamed corn, mashed potatoes, creamed spinach, and stuffing; and two pastas. And for dessert, you can choose from pumpkin cheesecake, apple crostata, chocolate cake, or tiramisu. Guests can dine in or take their meal to go.

Marie Callender’s

For $19.99, guests at Marie Callender's can choose between roast turkey or baked ham, with cornbread, soup or salad, vegetables, roasted yams, and mashed potatoes on the side; pumpkin or apple pie is offered on the side. Guests can dine in or take their meal to go. The chain also offers full precooked "feasts" ranging from $99.99 to $149.99.

Old Country Buffet

On Thanksgiving, Old Country Buffet will be serving an assortment of Thanksgiving favorites and all the fixings. For $89.99, guests can also pre-order a holiday feast to go, which includes turkey, ham, sage dressing, macaroni and cheese, green beans, mashed potatoes, gravy, cranberry sauce, rolls, and whole pecan and pumpkin pies.

Perkins

Perkins doesn't indicate online whether it's serving Thanksgiving dinner system-wide (call ahead to check), but a 2014 Tripadvisor review called Thanksgiving at Perkins "not a bad choice," with turkey, dressing, cranberry sauce, and two sides on offer for $11.99.
