Mix Up, Drink Down: Sky Juice From Rosewood Baha Mar In The Bahamas

"Sky Juice is beloved in the Bahamas, and for good reason: it is simple to make and is incredibly refreshing in the island heat" explains Andrea Lanza, assistant director of beverage at Rosewood Baha Mar. The luxury resort opened in June of this year in Nassau on Paradise Island and they made sure to interweave many of the local gastronomic traditions of the area into their culinary program.

Unlike the complicated tropical drinks served at typical Bahamian vacation destinations, this gin-based refreshing drink is easy in a pinch and perfect for a afternoon by the pool or after a long day out in the hot sun.

Sky Juice | Rosewood Baha Mar
1 oz. Plymouth Gin
1 oz. condensed milk
2.5 oz. coconut water

Slice a fresh coconut apart and measure out the nut's water. Combine all ingredients in a blender, mix until fully integrated, and fine strain before pouring ingredients over ice ball into glass. Top with roasted nutmeg-dusted coconut flakes.
