Dining Hall Milk Tea

Milk tea, also known as bubble tea, boba tea or pearl milk tea, is a popular sweet drink that originates from Taiwan. There are hundreds of different types of milk tea that you can make, ranging from the classic milk tea to taro and honeydew flavors and served hot or cold. Authentic bubble tea shops are sometimes difficult to find here in the States, but luckily, you can savor a simpler and equally tasty version (sans the bubbles) right in your very own dining hall.

Cook Time: 5 minutes
Total Time: 35 minutes

Servings: 1

Ingredients:
2 Lipton Black Tea tea bags
1 cup hot water
3 packets sugar
½ cup whole milk
Honey (to taste)

Directions: 
1. Steep 2 tea bags in hot water for 3 minutes.

2. Add sugar and honey to the hot tea.
3. Place tea mixture in the fridge for 30 minutes, or until cool.
4. Add ½ cup of milk to the cold tea.
