Cyclist Chow Down
Biking enthusiasts can participate in a biking parade and brunch as part of a festive Tour de France breakfast in Seattle's Fremont neighborhood on June 30 and July 12.
Starting at Cascade Bicycle Studio, cyclists will cruise down the Burke Gilman Trail to view Tour de France Mountain Stage 11. The ride will end at the historic Bastille Café and Bar, where riders can valet their bicycles and chow down on a buffet brunch.
"[At Bastille they] celebrate all things French and the Tour de France, well that is the pièce de résistance," said restaurant co-owner James Weimann.
Bikers of all levels can get tickets to the Ride + Eat + Cheer event at Brown Paper Tickets for $18 with a limited number of tickets available the day of the event for $25.
