Couple Gets Engaged And Married — On The Same Day

When Ryan Leak met his now-wife Amanda Roman five years ago, he overheard her whisper a wish to her friend: "I want to get engaged and married on the same day."

So how does a hopeless romantic pull off a feat like that? He looks at her Pinterest board, of course! Over the course of several painstaking months, Leak pulled together the wedding of a lifetime. As Leak whisked her off to Miami, Roman unknowingly jetted off to the most important day of her life. There, the unsuspecting bride-to-be was overwhelmed by family and friends who flew miles to be there and even helped plan the special day.

The couple chronicled the entire event in a beautiful 30-minute mini-documentary of their exciting walk down the aisle.

"She planned the entire wedding without knowing she planned the entire wedding," Leak said in the video post event. 

While her Pinterest board included dozens of ideas on gorgeous dresses, hair styles, and décor ideas, what we loved most were her creative food pins! She fantasized about an adorable cocktail hour recipe that included hearty bread and fresh vegetables. And for her dream wedding cake, Roman envisioned a top-tier cake with tons of towered cupcakes elegantly decorated with butterflies.
