Red Velvet Cheesecake Is The Only Cake Worth Making
Cheesecake and red velvet cake are wonderful on their own, but the best way to serve them is combined in a massively delicious (and indulgent) red velvet cheesecake.
Mind blown. If you're in awe and can't figure out how to create this wonderful mashup on your own (no shame, we were perplexed as well), it's an easier process than you would have imagined:
Make a cheesecake. Basically just a mix of cream cheese and sugar, cheesecake is one of the easiest desserts to master. Once it's done, let it set up in the refrigerator.
Make a red velvet cake. Or two. If you choose to make one, thickly slice it in half holding the knife parallel to the counter (so that you end up with two thinner rounds). Let the rounds cool to room temperature.
Stack and frost. Starting with a layer of red velvet as the base, stack the cheesecake and the other layer of red velvet on top. Frost it with your favorite cream cheese frosting. And voila, you've created a beautiful red velvet cheesecake masterpiece.
