Nestlé Toll House Bakers To #BakeSomeGood For 100 Days
Can baking make the world a better place? Nestlé Toll House seems to think so.
The company has partnered with six "positive change-makers" to #BakeSomeGood for 100 consecutive days, according to a release. Since the campaign began a few weeks ago, the Toll House Bakers have been baking "to brighten someone's day and share memorable moments that celebrate the good in the world."
"While baking is a small individual act of love, we absolutely believe that together, we can bake the world a better place," said Hyder Raheem, vice president of the Nestlé baking division. "With our bakers, we're making sure our actions speak louder than words and empowering others who share our passion to change the world one small act at a time."
Through baking, the Toll House Bakers are showing their appreciation for the under-appreciated, "celebrating the big and small," and giving their thanks to those in the community. Baked goods have been delivered to causes such as PAWS, the Chicago Fire Department, TS-YAY, Second City, and the Chicago Police Department.
Nestlé Toll House invites fans to get to know the Toll House Bakers and follow along on their 100-day journey through its social media pages, @NestleTollHouse, as well as take part in the movement and share their acts of good using the hashtag #BakeSomeGood.
