This red velvet butter cookies uses cream cheese as one of the main ingredients, so the cookies are guaranteed to come out soft and delicious. Make them even more festive by making a batch with red food coloring and another batch with green!

These cookies may not look like much, but they're amazing; just sandwich two of them together with some bourbon-infused frosting and you'll see what we mean! Thanks to cinnamon, nutmeg, and egg yolks, they taste just like the classic holiday drink. Creamy store-bought eggnog mixed into the dough and a pinch of nutmeg on top of each cookie makes them even more flavorful.
