Cold Stone Creamery Opens Among The Pyramids
Cold Stone Creamery, which first opened its doors internationally in Tokyo in 2005, has expanded to Egypt. Egypt marks the 19th country to have a Cold Stone Creamery.
Kahala Franchising LLC, the company that bought Cold Stone Creamery in 2007, signed a 10-year agreement with the Egypt-based company Squadra, an organization involved in food, leisure, automotive, and fashion markets. With the goal of opening eight more stores within the next four years, more Cold Stone locations are already in the works to open in Egypt.
"Cold Stone Creamery has successfully managed to preserve the warm feeling of stepping into a traditional creamery with fresh and rich aromas, while also utilizing the advances of the millennium to continue growing into a cutting-edge brand that is recognized and embraced throughout the world," said Hany Tanyous, CEO of Squadra.
With more than 380 international locations, Cold Stone Creamery's plans to expand throughout the continent of Africa.
