Cheesy And Kind-Of Good For You: Broccoli Cheese Soup
It's a Classic. Broccoli cheese soup shows up on menus in restaurants and sandwich shops of all kinds, but the best versions are made at home. If you're looking for a little less sin in your soup, try a healthier version, which uses blended potatoes to thicken it up instead of heavy cream, which makes for fewer calories than standard versions.

It's Almost Healthy. If you aren't sold on the healthier versions, even the classic version of this creamy soup can almost be classified as healthy. Broccoli is low in calories yet chock-full of potassium, iron, and vitamins A and C. Winning.

So Much Cheese. It's simple, really. The cheesier the soup, the more likely your kids are to devour it. We know you love it, too.

Put it in a Bread Bowl. Just do it and thank us later. Every bowl of soup can be improved by a big fat bread bowl. This may contradict the whole healthy-ish aspect, but it makes the whole thing even more delicious than when it started out.
