Bruce Springsteen Weighs In On Luis Suárez's World Cup Bite

"What are the rules about biting the Wold Cup?" Bruce Springsteen wondered, when TMZ caught him on the streets of New York City and inquired about his thoughts on this week's most infamous sports moment.

Yesterday (June 24), during a World Cup match between Uruguay and Italy, Uruguay player Luis Suárez bit Italian defender, Giorgio Chiellini.

According to CBS Sports, with the match tied at 0-0 in the second half and Uruguay needing a win to move forward to the Round of 16, Suárez appeared to bite Chiellini in the shoulder. The Italian player than pulled his jersey down off his shoulder in an attempt to show the referee the apparent bite marks on his skin.

Though Suárez was not ejected from the match, the World Cup organization, FIFA is currently exploring the misconduct and are expected to issue an official ruling by 4PM ET today (June 25).
