Papaya Agua Fresca
Total time: 2 hours, 10 minutes
Ingredients
  • 2 cup ripe papaya, cut in bite-sized pieces
  • 6 cup water
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • ice
Directions
  1. Puree the ripe papaya with 3 cups of the water in a blender until smooth.
  2. Pour mixture into a 2-quart pitcher.
  3. Add enough of the remaining water to fill the pitcher.
  4. Sweeten agua fresca with granulated sugar to taste.
  5. Refrigerate agua fresca at least 2 hours before serving.
  6. Serve over ice.
