Ingredients
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1 can (8 ounces) tomato sauce
  • 1 and 1/2 teaspoons mccormick® perfect pinch® italian seasoning, divided
  • 2 pound ground beef
  • 2 slices white bread, crumbled
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 2 teaspoon lawry's® seasoned salt
  • 3/4 teaspoon mccormick® ground pepper black
Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Melt butter in small skillet on medium heat.
  3. Add onion; cook and stir 5 minutes or until softened.
  4. Cool slightly.
  5. Mix tomato sauce and 1/2 teaspoon of the Italian seasoning in small bowl.
  6. Set aside.
  7. Mix ground beef, crumbled bread, cooked onion, milk, eggs, seasoned salt, remaining 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning and pepper in large bowl.
  8. Shape into a loaf in foil-lined 13x9-inch baking pan.
  9. Bake 45 minutes.
  10. Spoon seasoned tomato sauce over meat loaf.
  11. Bake 15 minutes longer or until cooked through.
  12. Let stand 5 minutes before slicing.
