Korean Burgers With Gochugaru BBQ Sauce And Kimchi Slaw

Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon mccormick gourmet all natural korean style red pepper
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 2 teaspoon sugar
- 1/4 cup rice wine vinegar
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 2 cup thinly sliced napa cabbage
- 1 asian pear, thinly sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup french's tomato ketchup
- 2 tablespoon soy sauce
- 2 tablespoon packed brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon mccormick gourmet all natural korean style red pepper
- 1 tablespoon mccormick gourmet organic toasted sesame seed
- 1/2 teaspoon mccormick gourmet organic ground ginger
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 green onion, thinly sliced
- 2 teaspoon mccormick gourmet all natural korean style red pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon mccormick gourmet sicilian sea salt
- 1/4 teaspoon mccormick gourmet organic ground ginger
- 4 hamburger rolls
Directions
- Mix all ingredients, except cabbage and pear, in large bowl; blend well.
- Add cabbage and pear; toss to coat well.
- Refrigerate until ready to use.
- Mix all ingredients in small saucepan.
- Cook on medium heat 10 to 15 minutes or until heated through and slightly thickened.
- Let cool.
- Remove 1/4 cup for brushing burgers during cooking.
- Reserve remaining sauce for serving.
- Mix all ingredients, except rolls, in medium bowl until well blended.
- Shape into 4 patties.
- Grill burgers over medium heat 4 to 6 minutes per side or until cooked through (internal temperature of 160°F), brushing with 1/4 cup of the BBQ Sauce while cooking.
- Serve burgers on rolls topped with reserved BBQ Sauce and Kimchi Slaw.
