Banana-Turmeric Chai Smoothie Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 frozen bananas
  • 2 cup of brewed and chilled chai tea
  • ¼ cup rolled oats
  • 1 -2 teaspoons raw honey
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon lucuma powder
  • ¼ inch fresh ginger root (or ½ teaspoon powdered)
  • ¼ inch fresh turmeric root (or ½ teaspoon powdered turmeric)
Directions
  1. Brew the chai tea and chill in the fridge until cold. Add all ingredients to the blender and blend till smooth. This smoothie is a much healthier take on the ever-popular chai latte with the same caffeine boost but without all the sugar and dairy that slows you down, plus, nature’s powerhouses.
