Bacara Resort's New 'Meet The Masters' Dinner Series
Nestled between Pacific Ocean and the Santa Ynez Mountains, the Bacara Resort overlooks the beautiful beaches of the Gaviota Coast in California. Among other things, the luxury hotel is known for the fine dining in its four restaurants and lounges. This includes the award-winning Miró restaurant, which will host the "Meet the Masters" dinner series starting in mid-January.
According to a press release, the dinner will be held in the Miró Wine Cellar among imported French stones, original artwork, rustic candelabras, and a grand fireplace, the series is described by the Bacara Resort as "an intimate dinning experience that offers culinary enthusiasts the opportunity to dine with experts from across the globe who share a proven mastery in the art and science of wine and spirit pairing." The first of the series, a dinner which will be held on Thursday, Jan. 16, features Fred Dame, a Master Sommelier and the first American to serve as President of the Court of Master Sommeliers Worldwide. The night begins with an oceanfront champagne and hors d'oeuvres reception that is followed by a four-course tasting menu by the Miró chef Johan Denizot. The meal will be paired with Dame's wine and spirit selections.

We are honored to share in their impressive talents as we offer our guests a truly exceptional dining experience they could only get at Bacara." The series, which will take place on the third Thursday of every month, will continue to welcome exciting guest masters such as Nicolas Kraft, sabrage and champagne master and president and CEO of Christofle, and Yuji Matsumoto, master sake sommelier and shochu specialist.
