Experience
Sophia began freelancing writing in 2019, and she started out by writing for Taste of Home with a focus on new food and drink announcements. Her first foray into food journalism was in college, where she and a friend reviewed three local noodle shops for the university's quarterly general interest magazine. Outside of writing about food, Sophia has experience in the industry working as a server in a noodle restaurant. When she's not writing for Mashed, Sophia is producing audio stories and podcasts.

Sophia graduated from Northwestern University in 2021 with a journalism degree.
