  • At the age of 14, Meredith met soon-to-be King Charles III at the Great Yorkshire Show, an annual celebration of food and agriculture, where he declared that her name was "a bit of a mouthful."
  • She has watched every episode of "MasterChef," "MasterChef: The Professionals," "Celebrity MasterChef," and "GBBO," more than once!
  • She also has a real passion for homemade, environmentally-friendly cleaning recipes that clean just as well, if not better, than store-bought alternatives.

Experience

Meredith has always been interested in the English language, started writing poetry at seven years old, and got A's in both English language and English literature at GCSE level. She enjoys food in all its forms and loves trying her hand at making authentic dishes, from hand-rolled sushi and sashimi to traditional wedding cakes. She loves going to food festivals and trying new cuisines and isn't afraid to try anything new or different. She got her love of food from her mum, passed down from her grandmother, who lived on a farm and made everything by hand using the farm's fresh produce. Meredith is passionate about putting as much flavor into dishes as possible, by just using everyday ingredients and loves to cook for her large family. She started writing for Hands Off Publishing in 2021 and joined Static Media in 2022, primarily based with House Digest. She joined Mashed as a writer in 2023 to merge two of her passions, writing and food.
