Experience
Mariana has been a writer her whole life, starting with poetry at the age of 7. In 2017, after eight years of working solely in the service industry, an opportunity to become a part-time content writer opened the doors to the happiest moment of her work career. For a while, she juggled four jobs that included churning out eight articles a day of trending content on multiple sites and ghostwriting for celebrities on platforms such as Holonis. When writing became her full-time job she was able to travel to Chicago and do more journalist work for Rare News. In 2018, her long-time dream of being published in a newspaper came true when the LA Downtowner hired her for what would be a wonderful three years of interviewing Los Angeles' best chefs, business owners, and creative minds shaping the city.
