Experience
As a member of The Daily Meal news team, Jordan combines a lifetime love of food, cooking, and writing with his hard-earned local news experience. He has been writing as long as he can remember, starting with short skits and videos he'd put on with his stuffed animals as a child. He continued growing his skills throughout his education, eventually completing an undergraduate film degree with an emphasis on screenwriting. After graduating, Jordan spent two years directing live local news before transitioning to his current freelance writing career. Since then, he has continued to refine and grow his writing skills in many categories, including e-commerce, film and television reviews, and social media.
Education
Jordan has a B.S. in radio-television-film from the University of Texas at Austin, with an emphasis on screenwriting.
