While working towards her degree, Donna spent several years in the restaurant industry in service and administrative roles, learning the business from the inside out. She had the amazing opportunity to work with chef Ricardo Zarate and meet other notable up-and-coming culinary talents in LA. After earning her degree, she moved to Las Vegas and worked as the Associate Editor for Nevada Business Magazine and Content Manager for a prestigious online marketing firm. Now, with two young boys at home, Donna is a full-time freelance writer focusing on topics related to home and family, cooking, health, fitness, and lifestyle tips. In addition to The Daily Meal, her work has been featured in Glam, Health Digest, and other online publications.
