9 Best Beers From Colorado Brewers' Festival
You Denverites can't get enough of your local brews, can you? Better head north to Fort Collins, then: This weekend's Colorado Brewers' Festival has you covered, with more than 70 craft beers, plus live entertainment and a "beer connoisseur" party (as we know you all are).
Called the "Napa Valley of Craft Beer," it's no surprise that the festival has on tap some of Colorado's most beloved breweries: Avery Brewing Co., Breckenridge Brewery, New Belgium Brewing Co., Odell Brewing Co., and Oskar Blues Brewery among others. (And hey, if you want to switch it up, we hear Rio Grande's infamous margaritas will be ready to order as well). But for the true beer lovers, the "Beer Connoisseur Party" tickets are worth the price for tasting small-batch beers, food pairings, and one-on-one conversations with brewers.
Besides the 15-plus live acts to check out, including FoCo bands 12 Cents for Marvin on Saturday and Fierce Bad Rabbit on Sunday, check out the nine beers you have to try:
• Avery IPA & White Rascal
• Mama's Little Yella Pils
• Hoppy Boy
• Railyard Ale
• Fat Tire Amber Ale
• Little Red Cap
• Hazed & Infused Kinda Blue Blueberry Wheat
• Dark Knight HBA
• Sumersault Biere de Mars
