5 Characters To Meet In 'Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs 2'

If you are reading this, chances are you are already obsessed with all things food. No doubt you have a ton of food-themed items, from accessories to school supplies. So we're sure you'll be heading to theaters Friday, Sept. 27 to catch the ultimate food-themed flick Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2. If you weren't planning on it, you may want to reconsider, as the fun food falling from the sky just got a whole lot more personality.

When we first met the loveable, slightly mad scientist Flint Lockwood in Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, based off the children's book, his invention that turns water into food had turned his small town upside down. In the second movie, Swallow Falls is overrun with food animals that are being birthed by his machine.
Granted, some of them are terrifying monsters like the Tacodile (called the "King of Food Beasts"), a crocodile-like monster that pops up throughout the movie as Flint and friends wander the Food Jungle. But there are a few more we totally wish were real.

While the actual film has way too many adorable characters to count, we fell in love with the amazing design and overall anatomy of a few especially great characters. From the Shrimpanzees to the Watermelephants, we could just eat these little guys up!
