3 Venison Recipes To Try This Hunting Season

My husband, aka, Chef John or "The Chef" on our food blog, The Saturday Evening Pot, absolutely loves to hunt.  Needless to say, he is happy that October has arrived and has already been hunting a couple of times this season. 

He is seeing deer earlier this year than he did last year, so we are hopeful to be able to enjoy these recipes this year sooner rather than later!

The first recipe has actually been one of the most popular recipes with readers of our blog, Kicked Up Crock Pot Cubed Steak.  Chef John created it in the past using beef cubed steak but says it would be just as good, if not better, using venison cubed steak.

This next recipe is our personal favorite: Grilled Venison Cubed Steak Sandwich!  The combination of the venison, Italian dressing, peppers, Vidalia onion and sourdough bread give it well-balanced flavor.
