Ingredients
  • 5 mint leaves
  • 1 ounce simple syrup
  • ¾ ounce fresh lime juice
  • 1 dash of angostura bitters
  • 1 ½ ounces aged dark rum
  • 2 ounces champagne
Directions
  1. In a mixing glass, lightly muddle 5 mint leaves with 1 ounce simple syrup, ¾ ounce fresh squeezed lime juice, and a dash of Angostura bitters. Add 1½ ounces of aged or anejo rum. Shake well over ice and finely strain into a chilled champagne glass. Top with champagne, and garnish with a mint leaf.
