14 Ways To Celebrate Summer
Have you ever found yourself headed out of town on a Friday in late July thinking, "ah, it finally feels like summer?" Given that Memorial Day weekend, for many, heralds in the unofficial start of summer, you shouldn't be experiencing your first taste of summer in mid-July, when the summer is practically half over.
That's why we've planned out your summer for you. Well, no not really. But there is no reason why you can't celebrate the little things like sand between the toes, farm stands, or a day out of doors in some way every weekend between Memorial Day and Labor Day.
Start summer off on the right foot with a surprise breakfast of doughnuts to celebrate National Donut Day. Trips to the beach and to the mountains are a must, of course. Don't forget Father's Day on June 19th, and it's not summer without picking berries. And when the heat becomes unbearable, make a trip to the farmers' market with friends to get all the makings for a no-cook meal.
