Chilly nights and cool days make fall pasta dishes a perfect choice for this week's SWAT (Sharing with a Theme). We put the Culinary Content Network to the test to come up with fall pasta dishes, and here are some of the highlights:
Michelle Sandstrom of Feed Me I'm Hungry lightens up lasagna with lean beef and sneaks vegetables into her sauce for a hearty fall meal.
Theresa of The Food Hunter's Guide brings us pasta with broccoli rabe and sausage. Toss this pasta dish in a light white wine sauce for an extra flavor boost.
This week's winner comes from Peter Block at Feed Your Soul Too. Dried pasta tossed with tomatoes, onions, and basil, is a simple dish that is sure to be a hit every time.
All of the recipes featured can be made at home for about $20 or less, excluding the cost of small amounts of basic ingredients such as butter, oil, flour, sugar, salt, pepper, and other dried herbs and spices.
