7-Eleven's Cherished Winter Wonderland Cocoa Is Returning

For every person who clings to summer until its annual dying breath, there are at least three others who are already knitting scarves for the upcoming season before the last guest has left the Labor Day party. These are the same people who are the first to carve pumpkins on their stoops and make lists of possible Halloween costumes. They're also the first to queue up Mariah Carey's "All I Want For Christmas" as soon as the Thanksgiving dinner plates are cleared.

If you get these sweater-bearing folks in a room together, they'll tell you that the best way to indulge in premature celebrations of the year's coziest holidays is with a warm beverage in hand. In the fall, apple cider and pumpkin spice lattes reign supreme. In the winter, coffee shop chalk boards make room for seasonal buzzwords such as "peppermint" and "gingerbread." And over at 7-Eleven, the looming winter season has once again given way to the chain's popular holiday cocoa.

Winter Wonderland Cocoa is a candy cane in a cup

Back by popular demand, 7-Eleven's Winter Wonderland Cocoa is now available at 7-Eleven, Speedway, and Stripes stores for a limited time. Per a press release, the drink pairs rich hot cocoa with a generous dose of peppermint candy cane flavor, with a festive red hue to boot.

To add to the holiday spirit, customers can sip their cocoa (or any other hot drink at 7-Eleven) out of seasonal green cups adorned with holly leaves. Select 7-Eleven stores are also selling candy cane cookies and other holiday-themed treats in the bakery section for those who need to double up on the minty-sweet confection.

The brand debuted its Winter Wonderland Cocoa in 2021 and seems to have garnered a positive response. Customers can customize their cocoa and make it even sweeter and more wonderland-like by adding toppings such as marshmallows, cinnamon, caramel, and flavored creamers.
