Where To Find The Best Deals On Veteran's Day

With Veteran's Day coming up this Friday, we'd like to take a second to say that whether you are active-duty or a veteran, we thank you for your service. November 11 is just around the corner and we're quickly approaching the day when we honor those that have served in the armed forces. One of the best ways to celebrate (in our completely unbiased opinion) is to sit down together and enjoy a good meal.

While treating a hero to a dish or a drink is a mere small token of appreciation, it's certainly a start. From trying out a new recipe on the grill to eating out at a restaurant, take your pick on how to celebrate. Keep in mind that if you do choose to eat out that most locations offering deals will require proof of military service, per Military.com, so make sure to bring some identification wherever you may go.

With many restaurants across the country offering a plethora of Veteran's Day deals, per the VA|News, there's no shortage of options. So without further ado, here are some of our favorite picks out of all the deals being offered this Veteran's Day.

A few of the best deals to look forward to this Veteran's Day

For those seeking an option for the morning, Another Broken Egg Cafe offers a tempting brunch option with free plates of its classic french toast and coffee, per VA|News. If you're just looking for some caffeine, Caribou Coffee will be serving up a free small brewed coffee for military members and their spouses, and Starbucks is also offering a free hot or iced coffee on November 11 (per Thrillist).

VA News also reports that, for the lunch hour, Charley's Philly Steaks is giving out small or regular-size cheesesteaks, while Cici's Pizza is offering a free adult buffet with a military ID. If you'd like to extend a lunch deal further into the month, Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers is giving out cards on Veteran's Day only for a free Freddy's Original Double combo meal. The card is valid until November 30.

And if you're feeling something for dinnertime, Smashburger has a free burger or sandwich deal at participating locations for military members and Joe's Crab Shack is giving veterans 20% off. For those looking to stock up on some goods for a home-cooked meal for the weekend, Food Lion is offering a 10% discount to all active-duty and veteran shoppers (per its website).
