What We're Loving: Lanvin For Ladurée
Just in time for New York's Fashion Week, Lanvin has announced its limited-edition collection for Ladurée, the beloved Parisian macaron brand. The eight-piece box is designed with Elbaz's classic sketches of fashionable women on the exterior and tied beautifully with a red grosgrain bow.
What's the best part? Though multi-colored, they're all bubblegum-flavored to embody "the bubble of childhood."
"The Lanvin creations of Alber Elbaz not only make women beautiful, but also prove that sweets and beauty can go hand in hand," Lanvin stated. "They say that a delectable air of childhood surrounds those with a soft spot for sweets; this playful aura still follows Mr. Elbaz, despite his role as a prominent couturier today."
The boxes are set for U.K. release on Sept. 28 and in France Sept. 25. Looks like we'll have to wait and see if these fashionable sweets will make an appearance stateside.
