Underage 'Hunger Games' Star Has Fake ID, Good Taste In Scotch
Stars: They're not just like us. While non-famous teenagers across America are guzzling hand sanitizer, 19-year-old Hunger Games star Josh Hutcherson is using his fake ID to buy extremely expensive whiskey.
Jennifer Lawrence probably couldn't have pulled it off without getting recognized, but Hutcherson, who plays Peeta in the film and its upcoming sequels, made use of his lucrative acting skills and a fake ID to convince a cashier to sell him alcohol.
And it wasn't just any bottle; Hutcherson went straight for the A-list with a bottle of Macallan scotch that rings in at $170. Gosh, we thought all fake IDs went towards Boone's Farm and Mad Dog 20/20.
TMZ snapped Hutcherson leaving a Ralph's in Sherman Oaks, Calif., with the ill-gotten bottle, then decided to narc on him by calling the store.
"We strictly enforce all laws relating to the sale of alcohol to minors. We will investigate these allegations and take any steps necessary," a store representative told TMZ.
Jeez, when we were in high school, we just had to worry about getting caught by our moms. But we also weren't drinking $170 scotch, so it all balances out.
