She'll add a clove of garlic in the winter to boost the immune system ("usually knocks out anything I have!"), celery in the summer to hydrate, and a pear (one of fall's best ingredients) instead of an apple to change things up. "But what I have... is the base of my juicing drink," says Chodorowska. You can update this juice recipe for any season.

Ingredients
  • 3-4 leaves of kale or swiss chard, or 1 cup or more of spinach
  • 1 orange, peeled
  • 1 apple, gala or granny smith
  • 1/2 lemon
  • 1/2 - to 1-inch ginger root
  • 1 medium-sized beet with greens
Directions
  1. Add all ingredients to a juicer, and serve immediately.
