For the carnivores out there, there is nothing more delicious or more satisfying than biting into a perfectly juicy steak. Throw in a glass of red wine and a side of veggies or mashed potatoes, and you've got a slice – or should we say a cut – of heaven.
The Daily Meal set out to rank the 10 Best Steakhouses in the World. We rounded up steakhouses that are both critically acclaimed and celebrated by locals. Because man (and woman) cannot live on steak alone, we also considered side dishes in our ranking when creating our list. Finally, we took the restaurant's ambiance into account, because when you're paying a premium for a quality cut of meat, you might as well enjoy your surroundings while you do it.

Chefs Ben Milgate and Elvis Abrahanowicz have been named best chefs in Sydney by the Good Food Guide, and their steaks are prepared both a la parrilla (charcoal-grilled) and asado (grilled over a wood fire in a fire pit), in the traditional Argentine style.
