Top Chef's Fabio Viviani Will Open A Chicago Restaurant

Fabio Viviani, contestant on Bravo's Top Chef and Top Chef: All Stars, will be opening an restaurant in the Chicago area at the end of this year or beginning of next year, according to an article on Eater.

Other Chicago-based restaurant owners David Rhekson and Luke Stoioff of Public House and Bull & Bear will team up with Viviani on the project.

Already the owner of Firenze Osteria and Café Firenze, the Florence-born chef will open his new restaurant in the River North neighborhood of Chicago. A location is secured, but the name of the restaurant and address are yet to be revealed. 

"It's a great city," Viviani said. "I've been a fan of Chicago before I was involved with any business. Chicago is getting to the point where New York was for restaurant business ... it's a great destination for fantastic food and food personalities."
