Three Fall Food Festivals We Can't Wait For

Fall is right around the corner, which means it's almost time for pumpkins, apple cider, and cinnamon flavors. These are our fall food festival picks to go to before sweater weather begins.

Philadelphia: StrEAT Food Festival, Sept. 21
Manayunk, Philadelphia will hold their food festival featuring food trucks and local eateries. Sammy Chon's Koagie Truck puts a Korean spin on the classic hoagie with Korean BBQ bulgogi, chicken, spicy pork, or crispy fish on a bed of Korean sesame slaw in a sesame seed roll. The Dapper Dog is also known for their different spins on hot dogs, such as their The Mack hot dog, which is topped with macaroni and cheese.

Nashville: Southern Ground Music & Food Festival, Sept. 27-28
Besides bumping to the sounds of Zac Brown Band and Jason Mraz, you can indulge in southern staples and ZBB favorites at the Southern Ground Music & Food Festival. Chicago's Girl & the Goat will feature a "Sloppy Goat" sandwich, made with farm-raised goat meat topped with rosemary slaw and served on a baked roll. Zac Brown's mobile kitchen Cookie will also make a debut featuring chef Rusty Hamlin's jambalaya and chocolate peanut butter biscuit pudding.

Boston: Phantom Gourmet Food Festival, Sept. 29
Phantom Gourmet, a restaurant review guide native to New England, will be hosting their Food Festival and feature a culmination of some of their favorite restaurants. Angelina's Pastry will have samples of their pumpkin bread, just in time for the beginning of autumn. Harrow's Chicken Pies will feature their famous pies filled with chicken, carrots, potatoes, and their homemade gravy, as well as a selection of pickles courtesy of Grillo's Pickles.
