Thanksgiving Games For The Whole Family Slideshow
It's tradition for a reason. We recommend only touch football and not tackle, obviously. Keep yourselves moving before you sit down to eat so at least you have some activity for the day besides lifting the fork to your mouth.
Thumbrint Turkeys
All you need are a few shades of finger paint to do this. Have each member of your family add their thumbprint to make a turkey and write their name in marker on it once it dries. Make sure to date the turkey and keep an album of each year to see who has come and gone from your Thanksgiving gatherings.
Board Games
Hurricane Sandy is over, so put the Monopoly back on the shelf. It's time to bring out Pictionary, Taboo, and Scattegories, basically any game that involves yelling, mime movements, and hand gestures. Its the holidays after all things have to get interesting, right?
Scavenger Hunt
No sleep here! This will get everyone moving and shaking after a big meal. Create a list of fall-themed items, from acorns to scarves, and then mix in oddball things like a thimble and a button. Have guests split into teams to find them all before the pie is served.
Get ready for the tree!
After the last slice of pie has been served and the dishes are in the dishwasher, get cracking on those DIY Christmas ornaments! It's never too early.
