Thai Food: Is This America's Best Thai Restaurant?

Thai food is, simply put, delicious, and luckily in the States we have many a Thai food restaurant that serves some pretty amazing dishes. There are many out there who rely on Thai food delivery or Thai food takeout to get us through those late nights we are putting in at the office all week, but it's always a treat to visit a Thai restaurant and simply enjoy the beautifully prepared cuisine.

If you're coming to the U.S. and want the best Thai food, which restaurant should you put on your list?

Lotus of Siam in Las Vegas, which serves northern-style Thai food, might just serve the best Thai food in America. This Sin-City Thai restaurant was included on The Daily Meal's list of America's 25 Best Asian Restaurants. Lotus of Siam has twice been nominated for a James Beard Award and has been called the best Thai restaurant in America by more than one critic. Chef/owner Saipin Chutima began her career at the age of five under her grandmother's tutelage and today cooks such inspired cuisine as charbroiled prawns in tamarind sauce and kao soi-braised short ribs.
