In the VIP area of Sweetlife, Rogue 24's R.J. Cooper served four varieties of arancini balls, including this pesto, basil, garlic, tomato, and Parmesan version.

"Festival food is all carbs," Cooper told us. "That's what you need, especially at festivals when you're drinking all day and the humidity is all high." Sounds about right.

Erik Bruner-Yang's Toki Underground served shaved ice with egg custard syrup (with caramel) and marshmallow fluff for $4 in the VIP area.

Bruner-Yang also sold a variety of skewers, like a short rib curry skewer on the right, as a preview of items at his upcoming restaurant Maketto.

Patatas Bravas From José Andrés' Pepe

Andrés' Washington, D.C. food truck Pepe served Patats Bravas with fingerling potatoes, brava sauce, aioli, and pimentón for $6, alongside fried chicken and pork shoulder sandwiches.

DGS Delicatessen's Hot Dog

Washington D.C.'s DGS Delicatessen served all-beef hot dogs with pastrami and chili.

Tom Colicchio's 'wichcraft grilled chicken in the back for sandwiches and later pulled out a whole suckling pig.

D.C.'s Korean taco truck TaKorean served a variety of tacos, including a tofu version for vegetarians.

Toki Underground's Pho Dog

Bruner-Yang teamed up with 13th Street Meats for their legendary Pho Dog once again, a combination of a banh mi and a hot dog.

The band performed "Take a Walk" and other favorites to crazy crowds.

Festival-goers shelled out $5 for four oysters from seafood purveyor Rappahannock.
