Starbucks Introduces Pumpkin Spice Latte In Europe
Traveling to Europe this fall and worrying you'll miss out on the Starbucks pumpkin spice latte? Never fear, Starbucks is introducing its insanely popular ode to fall in Austria, France, Ireland, Switzerland, and the UK.
The drink made its seasonal debut in the United States on September 4, with a flurry of activity on the part of pumpkin spice latte devotees. Starbucks also introduced a variety of fall-related pumpkin products, including pumpkin-flavored instant coffee. While the drink won't be available in Europe until October, Starbucks hopes that Europeans will be eager to jump on the pumpkin spice latte bandwagon.
Although Starbucks lovers in Europe have been itching to have the drink introduced in their local Starbucks' for quite some time, it will be interesting to see how the drink goes over with a crowd not used to sugary drinks. The UK is already familiar with themed drinks from national coffee chains like Costa and Caffe Nero. No matter what the reception is, it's clear that the pumpkin spice latte frenzy won't be dying down in America anytime soon.
