Spicy Kiwi And Jalapeño Salsa
The only thing that's worse than tomatoes not being in season is when you use out-of-season tomatoes in your salsa. This recipe solves that problem, providing you with a flavorful, spicy salsa with a hint of sweetness from kiwis.

- 8 ripe but firm kiwis
- 1 jalapeño, minced
- 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
- 1/8 cup finely chopped sweet onion
- pinch of sea salt
Directions
- Peel the 8 kiwis and trim the ends.
- Finely dice the kiwi fruit. Now, this is why you want the fruit to be firm but ripe. Firm kiwifruit will dice like a cucumber. But dicing overly ripe kiwis is like trying to dice pudding.
- Add all of the ingredients to a small mixing bowl and gently stir together.
