Santa Monica's 41 Ocean Gets A New Look And A New Menu
41 Ocean in Santa Monica has recently redesigned its dining area, introduced a new chef, Patrick Florendo, and rolled out a new menu.
Formerly only open to members, the restaurant now welcomes local guests for dinner.
Diners can now enjoy al fresco patio seating surrounded by big brown comfy armchairs and sofas, wrought iron chandeliers, Mediterranean inspired tile accents, and sliding wooden doors. The clubhouse room located on the other side of the dining area features live music and spaces for private events.
New American influenced menu items include tuna taretare tacos, iced crudité, rhubarb and burrata shortcake, branzino, a steak of the day, Wagyu cheeseburger, and Southern fried chicken.
Desserts include a warm butter lemon cake, house spiced churros, and a variety of gelatos and sorbets. There is also a great custom cocktail menu featuring Pina en Fuego, Spanish sangria, the Smoking Gun, and other signature drinks.
