Ingredients
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 6 pork chops, boneless
  • 1/2 cup apple juice
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 1/2 cup vegetable broth
  • 2 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic
  • 2 red delicious apples, cored, and sliced
  • 1 red onion, sliced
Directions
  1. Heat the pork chops in a skillet with the 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Brown on both sides and set aside.
  2. Mix the apple juice, vinegar, broth, brown sugar, salt, pepper, and garlic in the slow cooker — mix until the brown sugar is dissolved. Add the pork chops in and top with apples and red onion.
  3. Set the slow cooker on low for 5 hours, turning the pork chops in the sauce twice during that time.
  4. Place a thermometer in the center of the pork chop and if it reads 145 degrees F. it is done.
