Tempt your guests to take a sip of some forbidden fruit with this tasty spin off of the Hot Toddy, featuring cranberry juice and tequila. Make it your own and add some nutmeg to spice things up.This recipe is courtesy of Sauza.

Poison Apple
Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 ounce sauza blue reposado tequila
  • 1/2 ounce premium orange liqueur
  • 5 ounce apple cider
  • 2 ounce cranberry juice cocktail
  • lime wheel for garnish
  • cinnamon or nutmeg (optional)
Directions
  1. In a saucepan heat the apple cider and cranberry juice until steaming hot (do not let the liquid boil) and remove it from the heat. Stir in Sauza Blue Reposado and orange liqueur. You can add a dash of cinnamon or nutmeg if you want a bit more spice. Serve Hot Toddy in mug, garnished with lime wheel.
