Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cup all purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoon sugar
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup chocolate chunks (or mini chocolate chips)
- 1/2 cup white chocolate chunks
- 3/4 cup vegetable oil
- orange marmalade
Directions
- Preheat waffle iron.
- Combine dry ingredients with a whisk.
- Mix eggs, milk, cream, and vanilla in a separate bowl.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients. Don’t over mix.
- Fold in chocolate.
- Cook in waffle iron according to manufacturer’s directions.
- For the orange glaze, heat orange marmalade in a small sauce pan over low heat, and stir.The marmalade will liquefy when it’s warmed. This should only take a few minutes. If you want it thinner, you can add a little water. Plate the waffle, drizzle orange marmalade glaze over it and garnish with chopped truffles in white and milk or dark chocolate.
