Steamed Artichokes With Lemon Butter Recipe
Here is an easy and classic way to prepare delicious artichokes with a simple lemon butter dipping sauce.

Ingredients
- 4 artichokes
- 3 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 medium sized onion, diced
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon parsley, minced
Directions
- Remove stems, leaving only 1/2'' at the base of the artichoke. Remive smaller, tougher leaves and cut off tips.
- Add artichokes bottoms up in boiling water. Cover and let simmer for 30 minutes.
- Remove artochokes from water with kitchen tongs.
- Serve with lemon butter.
- Heat butter in small saucepan on medium heat, until melted.
- Remove from heat and add lemon and minced parsley.
