Papa John's Opens In Azerbaijan

Papa John's has opened its first restaurant in Azerbaijan. The world's third-largest pizza company, which has more than 4,000 restaurants in 33 countries, has opened in Baku, in eastern Azerbaijan.

Owned by Kamran Aliyev and Murad Melikov of PJA Limited, the new Papa John's offers dine-in, takeout, and delivery.

"Azerbaijanis can expect to enjoy the same great taste and high-quality ingredients with every pizza that so many loyal customers around the world experience every day," said Tom Sterrett, Papa John's senior vice president, international.

Since expanding internationally 13 years ago, Papa John's has opened more than 850 restaurants outside the US. More locations in Azerbaijan are in the works.
