Michelle Obama 'Turnips For What' In Hilarious Parody
Lil' John, watch your back: the First Lady is down to show the nation that eating healthy can be cool, and also hilarious.
Michelle Obama recently answered Twitter questions on the #AsktheFirstLady tag, and had the perfect response to Barack Obama impersonator Iman Crosson's question, "how many calories do you burn when you 'turn up'?" (letting loose and going wild). The First Lady's response was pretty epic: she proceeded to dance with a turnip to Lil' John's "Turn Down for What?" and posted the six-second video on the White House's Vine account (did you know that the White House had Vine? Neither did we).
The "turnip" parody was not only amusing, but also a great illustration of the First Lady's "Let's Move!" platform promoting healthy eating and exercise. She also delivered the funny recently on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon where she promoted eating fruits and vegetables with Sarah on Jimmy's cross-dressing, teen-satirizing "Ew" segment.
