Pop-Tarts Burritos, Cake Pop Truffles, And More Served At The Pop-Tarts Café

Just as Pop-Tarts used to pop out of the toaster when you were a kid, the Pop-Tarts Café is popping up in Times Square for a limited time. Kellogg's is basically serving the sweet, brightly colored breakfast items in every edible form imaginable, from "pizza" to "burritos." The Pop Tarts Café will only be open until February 26, so hurry up if you want to have the particularly unusual experience of eating a Pop-Tart taco, which is not nearly as strange as it sounds.

"From fruity to new coffee-licious flavors, Pop-Tarts appeal to a wide range of palates," Angela Gusse, director of marketing for Pop-Tarts said in a statement. "By reimagining recipes we know our fans love, we're proving that there's no limit to enjoying the toaster pastries. Pop-Tarts Café is an exciting dining experience that showcases the best ways to play with food — we can't wait to see fans' reactions."

We had a chance to try out the Pop-Tart pizza, a Frosted Brown Sugar Cinnamon Pop-Tarts crust topped with strawberry sauce and fruity "pepperoni," which looked unappetizing, but tasted ultra-sweet, and the Cake Poppers, which tasted like high-end truffles and had barely a hint of the traditional Pop-Tart flavor. These treats come in Frosted Cherry, Chocolate Fudge, and Cinnamon Roll tart-truffles to pop into your mouth.

If you're looking for a more traditional Pop-Tart experience, the café also offers "flights" of three regular Pop-Tarts on a plate.
