New York City Wine & Food Festival Grand Tasting

Chefs and food lovers alike were out in full force on Sunday, Oct. 20 at the New York City Wine & Food Festival Grand Tasting. The festivities took place on Pier 94, dubbed the "Culinary Campus," and featured cooking demonstrations, book signings, and endless bites and wine samples from top restaurants, chefs, and wineries.

Proceeds from the event went to hunger-relief charities such as the Food Bank for New York City and Share Our Strength. Supporting the cause were celebrity chefs and Food Network stars. There were two KitchenAid cooking demonstrations on two separate stages, which showcased talent such as Giada De Laurentiis, Tyler Florence, Michael Symon, Rocco Dispirito, Anne Burrell, and Geoffrey Zakarian, to name just a few.

The signature event was the place to be on Sunday, with delicious samples of wine and food from some of the country's best chefs and restaurants. The pier was packed full of hungry food lovers who had a chance to watch some of their favorite chefs — and certainly left the event inspired and full.
